Mums in Science are running a competition to get more designs for our merchandise – so why not put your scientific brain to one side and get artistic for a moment! The 5 best chosen designs will be used on Mums in Science items; see our shop section for the full range. All winning artists will get free entry into a EuroSciCon meeting (www.euroscicon.com) of their choice and the person who provides the best design will also get hotel accommodation for two in London the night before the Euroscicon event.

Deadline for entries is December 15th

Conditions of entry and rules:

* The competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over. Non-UK entries are welcome.

* Artwork must be submitted via e-mail as a 10" x 10" @ 200 DPI
(2000 pixels X 2000 pixels) pdf, jpeg or png file to competition@mumsinscience.net .

* Entries will be judged anonymously and the name of the designer must not appear on the file.

* Artwork must be the original work of the designer.

* Artwork must not have been previously published or be accepted for future publication elsewhere.

* Entries cannot be returned under any circumstances.

* The decision of the judges is final.

* Copyright of artwork remains with the designer. Designers will grant EuroSciCon permission to use their artwork on Mums in Science merchandise and will receive free entry into a EuroSciCon meeting.

* The designers of the winning 5 artworks  will also grant EuroSciCon permission to publish the artwork on its website or affiliate websites.

* Designers of winning artworks will be personally notified before January 30th 2006.

Submission of an entry to the competition will be deemed to imply unqualified acceptance of the competition's rules and conditions.
