MentorNet seeks science and engineering professionals in industry and government, either currently active, on leave, or retired, to mentor engineering and science community college, undergraduate, and graduate students, particularly women and underrepresented minorities, who are interested in pursuing a professional future in the fields of engineering and science.

TRANS-NET brings together 12 leading European Research groups to study “Identification of genomic and biological markers as predictive/diagnostic/therapeutic tools for use in allogeneic stem cell transplantation: Translational research towards individualised patient medicine”. The training network is primarily targeting researchers at the beginning of their scientific career with 0-4 years of research experience (which may include an MSc degree or equivalent) and experienced researchers with 4-10 years of experience (post-doc). The recruited fellows will benefit from practical and theoretical training offered by the Partners. Applicants are sought for a fully funded EPSRC PhD studentship in collaboration between the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and The Bartlett school of Graduate Studies at UCL.
