Annette Williams, Director of the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (UKRC) is one of the keynote speakers at the Positi+ve Energy Day on July 10 which will see the launch of a new network for women employees within the energy industry.
Hosted by The Petroleum Economist and held at Savoy Place, London the inaugural event is expected to attract over 100 senior female energy professionals from around the world.
Other keynote speakers at the event are: Lynda Armstrong, Vice President Technical of Shell Exploration and Production and Maureen Derooij, Global Head of Commodity Corporates, Standard Chartered Bank.
Delegates will be invited to participate in a panel forum debate and series of round table discussions, covering a wide range of topics including, the gender diversity challenge. The day will close with a cocktail reception to celebrate the launch of the Posit+ve Energy network.
