You are invited to attend all or part of Equalitec’s major conference "Knowledge and Skills for a Digital Future" to be held at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (Savoy Place, London) on the 6th and 7th of September.
Equalitec is bringing together key player organisations working towards the greater participation of women in all fields where Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (ITEC) skills are driving change.
The event is sponsored by the European Social Fund, the IET and Equalitec. It is FREE to all attendees.
6th September
Day one comprises a series of workshops lead by partners of Equalitec followed by networking and refreshments. The workshops will be:
o Creating Change through Innovation and Enterprise
o Promoting Engineering through Youth Cultures
o Addressing the needs of Women Returning to Industry
7th September
Day two is dedicated to the plenary session at which senior representatives from both the public and private sectors will be presenting their case under the relevant theme, with speakers from major organisations such as Microsoft, HP and Fujitsu. The themes will be:
o Influencing Recruitment and Retention through Policy
o Corporate Cultures and the Skilled Workforce
o Sharing Best Practice
o Innovating for a Digital Future
