Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones, Chairman and CEO of L'OREAL, and Koichiro Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO, presented the prestigous 2006 L'OREAL-UNESCO For Women in Science prize to five distinguished women scientists from North America, Africa, Asia/Pacific, Europe, and Latin America.
