Nuclear and radiation technologies and applications are very beneficial for mankind. There are also many possibilities for future developments. The general public though, have concerns and fears. WIN wants to address the concerns and and give the smile back to the atom, as well as giving a human face to nuclear and radiation technology. The WIN symbol, the smiling atom, is a symbol for all positive and beneficial uses of the atom and the general publics' appreciation of the uses.
