Let Tailored Time stuff the turkey this Christmas

Tailored Time is launching its Christmas package this Autumn for the busy women who are already thinking about getting all those tiresome jobs done.  This package is aimed at women with full time jobs and full time lives who want to have a great Christmas and reduce the stress.

“Despite the notion that most of our clients would be hard working socialising bachelors, it is more the case that they are women who are busy being everything to everyone.  It’s a challenging job having children, being a fantastic wife, having a social life and having a fabulous career.  This is where we come in!” says Sarah Green, Managing Director of Tailored Time.

Last year, the majority of clients who took up Tailored Time’s offer to take the stress out of Christmas were women who needed some assistance in pulling off the perfect Christmas.  Clare Johnson, 41, Managing Director of her own sales company offers a good example.

“On the approach up to Christmas, work life gets totally hectic – there are so many more meetings to go to as the Christmas deadline looms not to mention all the parties and dinners you have to attend.  I have to balance all this with looking after my child, plan all her parties and outings with her friends which means more work and then there is the whole of Christmas to plan – so much pressure!  A friend recommended that I contact Tailored Time and I can safely say they took some of the pressure off.  Simple things like knowing your turkey will be good quality organic and it will turn up on time, having someone to co-ordinate some of the Christmas present buying… its such a relief!”

Tailored Time’s strength is that they create a package to suit their client depending on what they need, when they need it and what their budget it.  It is a common misconception that having the luxury of Christmas preparation package can cost the earth – it doesn’t has to as Clare Johnson explains:

“I didn’t need a Christmas spring clean as I have a regular cleaning lady and I couldn’t be bothered with reams of Christmas cards this year so I had a chat with Sarah and she gave me what I wanted – an organic turkey, a 6 ft tree, the gift buying service and a couple of home visits to co-ordinate all the deliveries.”

Tailored Time’s Christmas packages start from £289 which includes a similar package as described above and go up to £600 which includes a stylist for those all important Christmas parties and a table decoration service.

An average package includes:

  • 6 ft Nordic non drop Christmas Tree
  • 20 hand written quality Christmas cards
  • Organic Turkey
  • Spring Clean of your home ready for visitors
  • Tailored Time lifestyle manager available to deal with your Christmas present list and provide gift buying advice
  • Tailored Time executive available to be on hand for your deliveries that you aren’t able to be at home for

This particular Christmas Preparation package cost starts from £380.

Partnerships have been forged with only the best suppliers, including the Organic Farmers Market in Devon, and they will source traditional Christmas fayre such as clotted cream and plum pudding. In addition there are a wide range of add-on services, including booking a massage and spa treatment to ensure maximum relaxation for the host or hostess before all the festivities begin.

“Nothing is too much for our clients – we aim to please.  We have put together a package with the products that were most in demand last year however if our client requires something a little different we are totally flexible to their needs” says Sarah.

Welcome to Mums in Science

This site has been designed as a portal for busy mums who work or have worked in science.

Too many women leave science due to the constraints of motherhood. Some struggle, and work part time, at the expense of advancing their career. Others change their career to fit in with their children, whilst working within some area of science.

Our aims are :-

  • to create a community to provide mutual support,
  • to provide information to those who have the challenge of bringing up children and maintaining a career in science, whether full or part time, or outside mainstream science.

This site is updated regularly with new articles and occasional special offers. Everything is accessible on the site. However, if you would like to receive notices of new additions to the site you can subscribe to the site and receive e-mails as soon as a new article is posted to your selected categories or to all the site.

We welcome comments about MumsinScience, what you like, what you don't like, or how we can improve.

PLEASE LET US KNOW, just email comments@mumsinscience.net
