Climate change specialist in Exeter, UK or Delhi, India
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is currently preparing its 4th Assessment Report (AR4) due for publication in 2007.

The post will likely be based either within the UK Met Office, Exeter, England or The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi, India. The location adjusted to meet the needs of the individual chosen for the post.

Main duty: to oversee, under the supervision of the IPCC Chair, the preparation and publication of the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report Synthesis Report.

For 2 years beginning 1st   March, 2006.
Deadline: October 15, 2005

This is a kool site - Glad to know you're helping Moms find work. I haven't worked since First Week and don't know if i will again but it is good to see your site!

Welcome to Mums in Science

This site has been designed as a portal for busy mums who work or have worked in science.

Too many women leave science due to the constraints of motherhood. Some struggle, and work part time, at the expense of advancing their career. Others change their career to fit in with their children, whilst working within some area of science.

Our aims are :-

  • to create a community to provide mutual support,
  • to provide information to those who have the challenge of bringing up children and maintaining a career in science, whether full or part time, or outside mainstream science.

This site is updated regularly with new articles and occasional special offers. Everything is accessible on the site. However, if you would like to receive notices of new additions to the site you can subscribe to the site and receive e-mails as soon as a new article is posted to your selected categories or to all the site.
