When parents say, “It’s bedtime, kids!” discipline frequently follows.

Five PhD positions funded by the European Commission under the Marie Curie Early Stage Research Training (EST) scheme are available in the Centre for Speech Technology Research (CSTR). The project - Edinburgh Speech Science and Technology (EdSST) - is an interdisciplinary training programme in speech science and technology featuring a strong interaction between the two disciplines. Welcome to Mums in Science This site has been designed as a portal for busy mums who work or have worked in science. Too many women leave science due to the constraints of motherhood.
