project is one of the activities of the Scottish Centre for Women in Science,
Engineering and Technology. You may also be interested in some of our other
activities, such as mentoring and the specialist OU course for women returners.
If you join this new scheme,
you will participate in a series of free workshops to help you to:
- Regain the confidence to return to work.
- Know about the local employment opportunities in SET,
and your own specialism.
- Know about local
- Polish up your Networking skills
- Learn and practice interview and personal presentation
skills
- Know about keeping a control of your life and worklife
balance
- Know where to find
sources of information, mentoring and support for women in SET.
- Understand your
rights at work as a returner, parent, part time or contract worker.
