Free half day workshop for women with science, engineering, construction or technology qualifications, with crèche (pre-booking essential). This is a workshop in the programme for women returning to careers in SET, run by the Scottish Resource Centre for women in SET, but there is some spare capacity in this workshop which we are making available to any woman in SET who might find it useful. more »

The MentorSET Peer2peer group is a peer mentoring group for all women in Science, Engineering and Technology who are experiencing work related issues due to their ethnicity and gender.
'BME women in SET are not a homogenous group, but we are more likely to face multiple disadvantages and so need to network and support each other'.
The group is holding a Strength Deployment Inventory SDI workshop at the British Computing Society in Covent Garden, London on the 4th July. Still places available. more »

Many employers in science, engineering and technology experience difficulties in recruiting suitable women employees. In this seminar ‘SET’ employers describe the practicalities of introducing Equal Pay and the part which this has played in attracting and retaining women.
The meeting will include advice and guidance from Baroness Prosser and good practice employers about the practicalities of responding to the findings of the Women and Work Commission.This seminar is intended for Diversity / HR officers, managers, decision makers and other organisations with an interest in attracting more women into SET occupations. more »
