The lunches are sponsored by the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology and aim to bring together women students, professionals in the industry, professional bodies and university teaching staff.

What is Interconnect?

Interconnect is a network for women students studying Science, Engineering, Technology and Built Environment in Scotland. It supports career development by building professional and social networks amongst young women starting their careers.

Background

Research by the Scottish Resource centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology shows that women SET students want to meet with women working in their field. The Meet the Professionals networking lunches will bring together women students from the local universities and colleges, with women professionals working in the sector, professional bodies and women teaching staff.
